A simple, no-pressure process
Most people haven’t had a piano tuner in their home before — or it’s been a long time. Here’s what to expect.
01
Request a consultation.
Tell me a little about your piano and what you're hoping for. Consultations are free, and there's no obligation to book service.
02
I come to you.
When I arrive, I'll take 10-15 minutes to get familiar with your instrument — its tuning, action, condition, and anything that might need attention beyond a standard tuning.
03
We talk it through.
I'll walk you through what I find and write up a clear estimate. You decide what you'd like done. If all you want is a tuning, that's all I'll do.
04
The work gets done.
A standard tuning takes about two hours. If you've approved additional work, I'll handle that in the same visit when possible, or schedule a follow-up if parts need to be ordered.
05
One price, agreed up front.
I charge by the job, not by the hour — if I decide to take a little extra time to get something right, that's my call, not your cost. When the job's done, easy digital payment.
